About

About me

I'm Michelle — a product designer and watercolor artist, painting from my studio in Boston. I make art to help people feel close to the ones they love.

I have friends and family who live far away from me, and I wanted to keep in touch better. But texts, FaceTime, and even voice memos started to feel limiting. I wanted to give them words that they could hold.

One day, I had the idea of turning my art into things you could mail. Postcards, with stickers that let you decorate and make a different card for each person. Stamps are already on each postcard in the kit.

Just decorate, write, and send 💌

Perfect to surprise your loved ones in their mailbox, and for them to keep on the fridge, knowing that you're thinking of them.

What's the story behind the bird?

The little bluebird on everything I make is named Goomi. The name comes from Korean — a mashup of 미 (beauty) and 그리다, which means both "to draw" and "to miss someone." My grandfather used to tell me I drew beautifully — 아름답게 그리다 — and that warmth is baked into everything here.
